As we continue to grow our team, it’s important to us that we not only maintain but work to improve the level of service we provide our customers. Our Area Directors play a key role in this mission because they represent Birdcreek Roofing in the community they actually live in. They view interactions with Texas homeowners as the beginning of a friendship and as an opportunity to serve their community — rather than a one-time transaction. Each Area Director has his own back story and we’re happy to share more about how DJ Davis joined the team and what makes Birdcreek Roofing different from the rest.

When and How did you get started with Birdcreek Roofing?
I got started with Birdcreek Roofing in February of 2016. I knew Nate from our Community group and two of our team members from a men’s Bible study group I attend. When I was in a transition period of my life and wanted to do something completely different, I was encouraged to give roofing sales a shot. I took the chance and fell in love with Birdcreek Roofing and how we help Texas homeowners renew their homes following a storm.
Why is Birdcreek Roofing a good fit for you?
Birdcreek Roofing is a good fit for me because I have autonomy to help homeowners repair their homes and I get to know them in the process. I also have control of my time and how much time I can spend with each customer. I love it.
What area(s) do you serve?
I serve Killeen and the 190 corridor from Nolanville to Copperas Cove.
What is your favorite thing about your community?
My favorite thing about the community I serve are the military veterans. I love giving back to our veterans and learning about them through their individual experiences.
Which step of the Birdcreek Roofing Process do you most enjoy and why? Consultation, Construction, or Follow-Through?
My favorite step of the Birdcreek Roofing process is the Consultation. I love meeting new people and sharing experiences. I’m not very hands on involved with the construction process so getting to know the customer and figuring out how I can help them is my favorite part.
Give an example of #HelpingTexasHomeowners…
I was hooked on Birdcreek Roofing from the beginning. My second sale was to a couple that did not have the money. I was able to make a deal with them to pay for the roof in increments. While this was a departure from our process, we helped a Texas homeowner who wouldn’t have been able to get their roof replaced otherwise. It felt great for us and the homeowner when they made the last payment.
